First, I would just like to say how much my son enjoys his V.Smile. He has had the system for a month now and I am amazed at how well he has learned to play the games. His eye/hand coordination has improved tremendously as well as learning the alphabet and shapes; he already knew his colors but this helps to reinforce them. The fact that the games also help with problem solving is wonderful as well for my son as he is reluctant to try to figure things out on his own but with Pooh or Simba he is able to...

... I have begun to recommend the V.Smile to the parents in my son’s pre-school class. Some were very unsure about getting their 3 year olds playing video games until I assured them the kids will learn color, shapes, letters, numbers, problem solving and the eye/hand coordination.

I think this is one of the greastest products ever. My 4 year old son got V.Smile as a gift for Christmas, 5 of the games as well. I have been trying to get him to learn numbers and letters and he just did not want to know anything. Well it has been 3 weeks since Christmas and he has mastered all of the numbers 1-10 and learned how to count by 2’s. I am very impressed with this system. He has also mastered 20 letters I could not be happier. So I would like to thank you and V.Smiles creators its a wonderful thing. I hope you contiune making many games for this system. I have recently purchased the V.Smile system for my 5 year old for Christmas. His wish was to have a PS2 from Santa, but I couldn’t justify spending that much money on my 5 year old.
I saw the ad in a Wal-Mart flyer purchased the game plus the Winnie the Pooh cartridge.
Let me tell you, my 5 year old was not interested in any other item that he received for Christmas that morning. I feel that it was and still is the best gift that someone could have given any child, and will recommend the V.Smile to my friends with young children.
I have watched him have fun and learn at the same time...thank you!

I am the proud parent of a 5 year old V.Smile user and I could not be more happy with the system. What sold me on it was that the joystick could be made lefty for my daughter who is VERY dominant left handed. She has always had a difficult time playing other video gaming systems, partly because they were too difficult and partly because they were for right handed people. Not only have I been totally satisfied, one of my daughter’s friends is going to get them for Christmas, too, because his parents liked it so much. The kids can set the whole system up themselves, change cartridges, and switch the joystick back and forth as they share. I work at our local Toys R Us and I can not tell you how many V Smile systems I have sold by simply answering people—s questions honestly. They want to know what I like best (low frustration, educational, fun) and least (graphics compared to other systems my daughter sees). The system sells itself, I just offer security in their decisions.

I have recently bought the V.Smile for my son and think that it is an awesome product! I was wondering if there are plans for more smartridges to be made in the future? Will the library of smartridges be growing? My son can’t get enough of them and loves this product. Thanks for the quality and keep up the good work.

My grandson loves his V.Smile. He has been diagnosed with ADD and has been a challenge since he is only three and a half. V.Smile keeps him occupied when no other learning game could... Thank you. V.Smile has been a true blessing to my grandson and especially his mother!!!

I just wanted to say we love V.Smile. We have been waiting for it to hit the stores ever since we saw it on your website. My son just got it for his birthday and he has been on it ever since. It is much more educational than any video game. I refuse to buy video games but this was more than that -- it is so educational.

"...Normally when a game comes with something it’s not very interesting to the child.....but, Alphabet Park is my sons favorite game!!! V-smile is the best present I could have bought my three year old son. He turned four in July 2005 and has so far nine of the smartridges. He has learnt to think strategically and is improving on his maths. We are looking to purchase the new ones such as Dora once they are for sale.
The only thing I would ask is that you make a smartridges case to hold the large selection most children would own. The V-Smile only holds six smartridges and since my other son aged 11 months takes them out, a smartridge holder somewhat like a cassette holder would facilitate this problem.

I bought the vtech v-smile computer for my 4 daughter and well let me tell you i think, no, i know that this was the very very best teaching
tool!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even bought it for my niece and little cousins because my daughter just sits there and plays and learns so much from it, You have really out-done yourselves! I have bought just about every tape so far that you have possible and know that i see you have newer ones out. I’m just going to have to go and get a couple more. I have and will continue to recommened this product to family and friends and any other stranger that i see and once again you have the best product out of all and any other out there! On December 14, 2004, my husband and I sat in our 5 year olds classroom and received heartbreaking news. The teachers, principal and his special-education team informed us that our son would not be graduating kindergarten. "He is just too far behind" was what we were told. We knew our son had difficulties learning and we knew this may happen. But although we knew, it still hurt.
On December 23 the school closed for Christmas break and was not scheduled to reopen until January 3, 2005. On Christmas morning my son received a V-Smile system with 2 games. I honestly believe the only time the system was turned off was when he was sleeping. Normally we would not allow any of our children to play video games this long, but I thought maybe it could do what myself, my husband and his teachers couldn’t.
On January 13, 2005, just 10 days after school reopened, we were again
called in for a conference. Expecting to hear more bad news, we sat
nervously as the school team gathered. The teacher simply slid two pages across the table for us to look at. Not knowing what they were we just stared. One paper showed results of our son’s recent testing on numbers, colors, shapes, alphabet and letter sounds. A test which was performed on 12/10/04. The results read as follows:
Alphabet - Hunter can properly identify letters - A, H, S, T
Letter Sounds - At this time Hunter is unable to recall any letter
sounds
Colors - Hunter can properly identify the following colors - blue,
red
Shapes - Hunter can properly identify the following shapes - circle, heart
Numbers - Hunter can properly identify numbers - 1 through 5
The second paper was the same test performed on 1/7/05. The results as
follows:
Alphabet - Hunter can properly identify letters - A, B, C, D, E, F,
G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
Letters Sounds - Hunter can properly identify the following letter
sounds - A, B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, M, P, R, S, T, W
Colors - Hunter can properly identify the following colors - blue,
red, black, white, orange, yellow, purple, green
Shapes - Hunter can properly identify the following shapes - circle,
heart, square, triangle, rectangle, diamond
Numbers - Hunter can properly identify the following numbers - 1 through 20
Everyone was amazed at what Hunter had done. The first week Hunter had been back in school, the teacher noticed Hunter blurting out answers when the class reviewed the above skills. Amazed by what he was doing, she elected to retest him, but admittedly did not expect results. She was shocked.
With everyone involved wanting to know what we did over Christmas break, we admitted we did nothing. The only thing I thought could shed any light, was the fact he received a V-Smile, and never stopped playing it.
To this day, my son plays his V-Smile every day. And as he returned to
school this past week, I am proud to say he is no longer in need of special services, he has been placed in a regular first grade class, and is no longer struggling.
V-Smile did what no one else could. It taught my son. So from the bottom of my heart I say Thank You. Please never stop what you do. You have made a difference.

My name is Angel and I am a parent of a 4 1/2 year old little girl. Santa brought our V Smile for Christmas last year. We immediately fell in love.
My daughter was given a hand-me-down gamboy last November from my nephew (who received a new one for his b-day). We were ready to ask Santa for more games for Christmas that is UNTIL we stumbled upon the V SMILE. I am so glad we decided to go with the v smile.
My daughter is entertained and she is learning too.
Again this year we decided to purchase a new gamboy for take-a-long trips and for portability. Imagine our surprise when we found the v smile pocket at the local toys r us!!!
I was very excited and happy to see that the newest v smile will accept the larger version’s game cartridges.
This is truly a Godsend for parents who do not want to expose their children to the explicit violence found in many Nintendo and other gaming systems. Thank you Vtech!!!
Maybe vtech could creat a system for older children 7 and up! I know I would like an alterntive to grand theft auto!!!

purchansed the system last christmas, and when i saw the pocket version, I was blown away that all the cartrideges fit. Thank you a million more for saving this single grandmother of a 3 year old child, the money she can now use towards the games.

Hi,
I would like to say Thank You! We got the vsmile learning system
and a few smartridges for Christmas. Well, this was the best thing we could have got. At first it was just ok. You see our little girl has learning disablies and Autism. We do a lot of repetition when we are learning, we also homeschool.
We had to buy another paddle so when friends come they can play also, and more smartridges. We have 17 now and still want more learning fun. We just bought the V smile Pocket. She is really learning. I’m so impressed with this wonderful product and the durable qualities that it has.
Like a nurse stated in the hospital, this is better than playstation;
It’s affordable, and it has an impressive number of learning activities. It has impressive portability, and is easy to use. This is a nice produce for little people. We do need a Vsmile case for on the go, and a case for all of these smartridges so we can keep
things clean up and not all over. Easy to get into, and for a large
selection. We are looking for Three Smartridges (Goofy’ Diner, Batman, and Sesame Street).
Well, I really appreciate this product (Vsmile) and just want to say Thank You so much. It does work!!

I got the V-Smile System last Christmas & the kids love playing it daily. Not a day goes by they don’t play with it. We even have the Vsmile Pocket for the car.....
THANK YOU for coming out with this EXCELLENT product! This has to be the best invention you have! It truly is the most outstanding learning toy for my children ages 2 1/2, 4 & 6.
I have been faithful in searching & buying all the smartridges that come out that we don’t have. I have been running out of places that stock the new ones though. PLEASE help!!!

We bought my son the V-Smile game last christmas when he was just 3 years
old. He loved it then and he loves it even more now. Also, our daughter, who is 18 months, will sit and watch him and get excited when he is playing. I know that the V-Smile game has helped him educationaly and I know it will do the same for our daughter. Gavin thinks it is a video game just like his older friends play, but he is learning the whole time palying it. I am also very excited to see all the new games that came out, I can’t wait!!!
